April is Poetry Month! - *Review of Event held on April 1st. 2023 Queens Public Library at Cambria Heights hosted a Poetry open Mic. I am so glad I was invited to join other local writers and poets. It was a great opportunity for me to give an overview of the books and to share some specific poetry and prose from the content of the books: Encounters and Reflections and Encounters and Reflections II. https://a.co/d/1Sa3QZ2 This online event was very organized. Each person had a preset time to read and share. We had a great time sharing and listening to original poems and prose. Introduction/hosts at the event: Gail Lewis and Aletta Seales. ( From the left.
