All of us have testimonies of joy, struggle, challenges and victories. Some of us recognize that, as a song highlights, it is: "God that is in the story and God that is in the details." It was a blessing to make the books available as an author vendor. In person interactions are a wonderful way to engage others and receive instant feed back from readers. I am often blessed by unexpected and sometimes deep felt and moving encounters. Saxophone player, Toni Smith, led us through various genres of music, in a fun-filled celebration. My acknowledgement to the leadership at Brooks Memorial United Methodist Church for their love filled community event. The Volunteers for Springfield Park Inc. was birthed from a group of leaders who saw and acted on the need to restore Springfield Park.
