All of us have testimonies of joy, struggle, challenges and victories. Some of us recognize that, as a song highlights, it is:

"God that is in the story and God that is in the details."

It was a blessing to make the books available as an author vendor.  In person interactions are a wonderful way to engage others and receive instant feed back from readers.   I am often blessed by unexpected and sometimes deep felt and moving encounters.

Saxophone player, Toni Smith, led us through various genres of music, in a fun-filled celebration. My acknowledgement to the leadership at Brooks Memorial United Methodist Church for their love filled community event.

Welcome! You are invited to collaborate in a small book study group.  Our goal is to explore some specific reflections in the "Encounters and Reflections" books, align our thoughts and ideas to scriptures in the Bible and utilize "Inspired reflection."    Use the form below to register.

You are invited to join us for the recording of the first of two small group, online, book studies.
"Encounters and Reflections II - It Is Written" has a similar format to the first book  "Encounters and Reflections - Can you hear me now?"  Both books incorporate alignment to scripture for a more universal and Biblical perspective.  In addition, a journal prompt is presented after every reflection to facilitate additional thinking and reflection for individuals or groups.

At the beginning of the book study an introduction was made to some of the big ideas highlighted in the book.  Two specific entries in the book were used to springboard our collaborative and inspired reflection..  We invited the Lord's Holy Spirit through prayer, shared honest, real-world perspectives and aligned our ideas to scripture.  To God be the Glory for all that was shared, especially some of the insights that provided revelation and understanding.
