Have you ever visited the cherry blossoms in the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens or Central Park in New York City?
Now I know why people flock to Washington DC for the Cherry Blossom Festival.  I searched for scripture that aligned with my experience and decided to use Isaiah 55:12.

The "crowds" came to admire and bask in the beauty of the cherry trees.  "Yoshino" cherry trees, prunus serrulata and then rhododendrons. (Wikipedia Central Park Reservoir).  I travelled, to a specific area near the Central Park Reservoir, with a friend who had never experienced this engagement with this beautiful gift of God's awesome Creation!  It became a pilgrimage that was well worth the journey.
