In the midst of a garden, like this, space and opportunity are found to meditate on the promises of God.

It was a cold, blustery day in the month of February 2022 as I strolled along some of the streets of Downtown Manhattan I encountered the unexpected ....open spaces to walk on the sidewalks!!  I remember rushing around in this area, frequently passing the New York Stock Exchange.  Often, I dodged past people like a race car steaming forward to get to my destination, frequently feeling harried.  At other times, like today, I took time to gaze at the ingenuity of  distinguished buildings, including significant sky scrapers, and breathed in some of the unique culture of New York.  There was a difference now.  Although enthusiastic, I  also craved the myriad of impromptu conversations I would fall into.

February 5th, 2022. Time apart in a local park.  What at first seemed uninviting actually turned out to be a beautiful gift.
